This chair was damaged on the arms. Not usable and ugly.
I removed all the damaged wicker so the under wood was showing.
Before I start I touch up the paint.
Then I cut some cardboard to cover the opening.
Now I cut some fiberfill and placed over the cardboard and to the end.
( Could also use foam )
Next I laid the material over the arm using it ad a pattern for the new material. Leave about 1 in or more for adjustments.
Flip material to the wrong side inside arm
Now flip over to right side, turn ends under and staple under the arm to the wood.
You can take another piece and finish off the underside the same way.
Do other side.
I then took remaining material and made cushions for seat and back.
Ready to enjoy and cost nothing but materials.
