20 2 inch screws
Finishing nails
Saw

Hammer
Screw driver drill bit
Counter sink for screws
Angle square or miter box or miter saw
Wood Putty
Finish of choice
Cutting
Cut two fancy posts for front 24 inches
Cut 2 fancy posts for back at at angle and then cut length by measuring longest part to 30.5 inches
( a miter box or miter saw makes for straight cuts and angles )
Now cut 2 2x2"s 25.5 inches for back supports
and 2 2x2's 15.5 for side supports
Put 1x1 inch around plywood with finishing nails
Cut 1x1 chalk holder, round with sandpaper and apply at front top with finishing nails
Cut and apply strip with mitered ends to back underside
Take two back legs lay flat place supports between and drill counter sink holes
Screw together
Take front leg and side support and drill countersink holes and screw together
Do the same with other side
Drill 2 counter holes on both ends
Screw together
Lat front leg on table and back leg on back edge of table
Make sure bottom of legs is square and the same length
Drive screws in back countersink holes
Turn over and do the same with other side
Stand up and attach top by screwing in screws into the counter sink holes into legs
Take fancy trim and screw between two sides towards back to stabilize frame
If you want apply a piece of flashing tin trim to hold pad in place across back by nailing to back of top.
This is optional
Now take wood putty and fill all holes, let dry and sand whole art table
You can now apply any finish you want.
I painted this one in a white paint and applied a chalk board paint to the top working area.
Enjoy
I did this one for a client.
